LAHORE: The upgraded FMH Clinical Laboratories was inaugurated at Fatima Memorial Hospital. The upgraded lab facilities were in continuation to the various other services that have been revamped in the past one year to improve the service provided to the patients. These include the renovated ER facilities, Operation Theatre Complex, Labour Room & the installation o to meet the growing demands of the patients.

The upgraded FMH Clinical Laboratories was inaugurated by Mrs. Shahima Rehman – Chairperson, Executive Committee, Fatima Memorial System. The FMH Clinical Laboratories were established in 1977 and over the years has evolved to provide over 400 diagnostic tests under one roof.  The tests are performed under strict protocols with the sole purpose to provide accurate & timely diagnostic data for clinical diagnosis and treatment. The Clinical Laboratories’ operations are managed by a team of over 45 highly dedicated, professionally trained and seasoned technologists, technicians, phlebotomists and support staff.

Dr. Arif Amir Nawaz, Hospital Director of Fatima Memorial Hospital said “It gives me great pleasure today to be a part of an institution which has grown by leaps and bounds in the past decade. We strive to provide the best in service to patients who comes to us from all walks of life and the improvements of the facilities is solely for their benefit.  The annual funfair this year is not only to celebrate what we have achieved but also to recognize our staff that has been with us for so many decades. Celebrations like these bring the team closer together while motivating and encouraging them to work with a reaffirmed dedication to the work they do”

The Annual Funfair is held every year for the 1800 personnel and provides an avenue for them to enjoy themselves: This year the platform was also used to recognize the 63 members of the FMH team who have been part the hospital for over two decades and thank them for their loyalty, perseverance and trust in the institution. The day also marked highlighting all team members who had shown growth and dedication to their work over the course of the previous year and each one of them was given a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize.

Fatima Memorial Hospital, a not for profit hospital was founded in 1977 in Shadman, Lahore which provide healthcare to patients from all walks of life without any discrimination.
