NAUSHERO FEROZE, Pakistan: A three-day Anti-Polio Drive will start from November 10 in 51 union councils of Naushero Feroze district.
The polio drops would be administrated to 295005 children in the district during the campaign.
This was revealed in a meeting held here on Friday with Additional Deputy Commissioner-II, Muhammad Usman Tahir in the Chair to review the arrangements for the campaign in the district.
On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner said that each doctor of respective government hospital should monitor a 3-day drive. Each medical officer has to monitor performance of his respective teams.
If any complaint was received against any team, action would be taken against concerned field officer or medical officer and no leniency would be shown in this regard, Additional Deputy Commissioner said.
Each official has to work hard to make the campaign successful to ensure that no child could be deprived of polio drops, he said.
Dr Fida Hussain Memon, the district focal person, while briefing the meeting said that in district during the Anti-Polio Drive, 614 mobiles teams, 67 fixed points and 43 mobile would take part in 3-day Anti-Polio Drive.
The meeting was attended by representatives of WHO, District Health officer Dr. Abdul Wahab Wadho, all Commissioners, PPHI, Police and NGOs representatives.
