LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab government has enhanced the professional allowance of doctors from grade-17 to 20.

In a statement, the Provincial Chief Minister Advisor Khawaja Salman Rafiq said that doctors in grade-17 working in government hospitals will get professional allowance of Rs 19,388 against Rs 16,200, doctors in grade-18 Rs 12,970 instead of 11,200, doctors in grade-19 Rs 12953 against Rs 11200 and grade-20 doctors Rs 12974 instead of Rs 11200 per month.

Salman Rafiq said that the increase in professional allowance of doctors would be applicable from July 2015.
