LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved two development schemes of Health Sector with an estimated cost of Rs. 25374.314 million.

These schemes were approved in the meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Chairman Punjab P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Joint Chief Economist P&D Board, Director General Monitoring & Evaluation P&D, Director Punjab Economic Research Institute (PERI), P&D and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

According to spokesman of P&DD, approved development schemes include: Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) at the cost of Rs. 25,312.59 million and Consultancy Services for the Preparation of ISO (17025-2005) accreditation of drugs testing laboratory, Lahore at the cost of Rs. 61.724 million.
