ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Executive Director Polyclinic Hospital Dr Zahid Iqbal has said that Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) would give Rs 44.8 million within a week to Capital Development Authority (CDA) for expanding the Hospital.

Talking to media, he said that performance of the Hospital would become much better with the construction of new blocks and more patients would be treated with better facilities.

Dr Zahid said that expensive diagnostic machinery would also be installed in the hospital including CT scan.

He said that recently, members of National Assembly’s public account committee visited the Hospital.

To a question, Dr Zahid said that Prime Minister’s National Health Programme would not only give the vulnerable sections of the society an access to free health facilities but also help to develop and revolutionise the health infrastructure across the country.
