Sahiwal Division: Already distributed

DG Khan Division: Already distributed

Lahore Division: January 1, 2022

Rawalpindi Division: January 20, 2022

Bahawalpur Division: February 1, 2022

Faisalabad Division: February 9, 2022

Multan Division: February 22, 2022

Gujranwala Division: March 21, 2022

Sargodha Division: March 31, 2022

LAHORE, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan formally launched the distribution of Health Cards for the entire Punjab from Lahore on Friday.

Under the Scheme, every family in Punjab will have a free medical facility up to Rs one million per year.

By the end of March 2022, all households of the Punjab province will be entitled for free treatment in empaneled Private and Public Hospitals.

As per the Schedule, Sehat Cards Distribution will begin from January 1, 2022 in Lahore Division, from January 20 in Rawalpindi Division, from February 9 in Faisalabad Division, from February 22 in Multan Division, from March 22 in Bahawalpur Division, from March 22 in Gujranwala Division, and from March 31 in Sargodha Division.

The people of Sahiwal and Dera Ghazi Khan Divisions have already been provided Sehat Sahulat Cards since May 26, 2021.

 

In his address at the Inaugural Ceremony of “New Pakistan National Health Card” in Lahore, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that 30 million families of Punjab would be benefited through the project of distribution of Health Cards costing Rs 400 billion.

Highlighting the benefits of health cards, the prime minister said that Health Cards will meet the health emergency of the marginalized section of the society. He further said that it will also help to strengthen the health structure of the Country.

The prime minister also said that networks of hospitals will be established under the Health Card Scheme and the Private Sector will be incentivized through the project.
