Cancer hospital & research centre to be set up in Lahore

LAHORE: A cancer hospital and research centre will be set up in the provincial capital Lahore.

The approval was given by the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif while presiding over a high level meeting in Lahore on Tuesday.

The chief minister said that land for this project will be given in the Knowledge Park. He said that an autonomous board of governance will administer this project.

Shahbaz said that that doctors and paramedic staff of this hospital will be given training abroad. He directed to take all necessary measures for setting up of this project.
