RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan has said that the Health Insurance Card covering the entire population of the Country will be launched next month.

While addressing a ceremony at the under-construction Mother and Child Hospital in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, Dr. Faisal Sultan said that the Health Card project will help people bear the burden of medical expenditures.

The Special Assistant said that it is a reflection of service delivery on part of the government for the people.

Talking about the Mother and Child Hospital, he said that the hospital will provide a state-of-the-art neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (ICU), MRI, and other diagnostic facilities to people under one roof.

In his remark, while talking to media in Rawalpindi, the Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that Mother and Child Hospital in Rawalpindi will be formally inaugurated on February 28, 2022.

Sheikh Rashid said that the Nullah Leh project has been approved by the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) and it is hoped that it will be completed soon.
