Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has paid a glowing tribute to security personnel who embraced martyrdom in a bomb attack in Bolan area of Balochistan.

“May their souls rest in peace! My heartfelt condolences & prayers are with the bereaved families,” he added.

Earlier in the morning, at least nine individuals including eight policemen and one civilian were martyred in a suicide attack on a Balochistan Constabulary van in the Dhadar tehsil of the Kacchi district in Bolan.

The blast occurred on the Kambri bridge in the area bordering the Sibi and Kachhi districts.

Following the attack, the prime minister directed the authorities concerned to provide best medical facilities to the injured.

Shahbaz Sharif said that terrorism in Balochistan is part of nefarious agenda of destabilizing the Country. He reiterated the commitment to purge the motherland from the menace of terrorism.
