“Wishing them both success in their new endeavors & looking forward to further strengthening of our bilateral ties & deepening cooperation between our two brotherly nations,” the prime minister said.

Separately, Shahbaz Sharif congratulated KP Sharma Oli on taking oath as the Prime Minister of Nepal.

Wishing him success, the prime minister said that he looks forward to working with his Nepalese counterpart to further strengthen bilateral relations and promote regional cooperation between the two nations.

Earlier in the day, KP Sharma Oli was sworn in as the Prime Minister of Nepal. Nepal’s President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath to him.
