ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Friday directed Privatization Commission to continue process of privatization in an efficient and transparent manner.

He was chairing a meeting on Pakistan’s Privatization Programme in Islamabad.

Chairman Privatization Commission Muhammad Zubair briefed the Finance Minister about the implementation status of decisions taken by the Cabinet Committee on Privatization.

The Chairman Privatization Commission also apprised the finance minister about interest, shown by foreign investors in various sectors.

The Finance Minister appreciated the work done by the Privatization Commission.

The meeting was attended by officials from Finance Division and Privatization Commission.
