QUETTA, Pakistan: Unknown militants shot dead three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel in Sabzal Road area of Quetta on Friday.

Police sources said that unknown militants opened fire on the FC personnel in Balochistan’s Capital and escaped unharmed, as a result two FC men lost their lives on the spot while the third succumbed to his injuries on the way to nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned attack on FC personnel in Quetta and directed the concerned authorities to hunt down the culprits.

In a statement issued from the PM’s Media Cell, the prime minster expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and grant of forbearance to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.

The prime minister said that such cowardly attacks reflect the frustration of the terrorists who were receding due to countless sacrifices of valiant security forces.

“We will eliminate terrorists and extremists from our motherland through unflinching national resolve,” the Prime Minister said.
