ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the federal government is duty-bound to ensure fair distribution of resources among all the federating units of the Country.

Talking to the Chief Minister Balochistan Sardar Sanaullah Zehri in Islamabad on Saturday, the prime minister said that the federal government’s vision of transforming Pakistan into a developed state is not possible without development of all federating units.

The prime minister said that all areas of the Country have equitable rights over the Country’s resources.

Sharif said that Gwadar Port will change the fate of the people of Balochistan and the entire region. He said that he is personally monitoring all development projects in the Balochistan province.

On the occasion, the chief minister apprised the prime minister of progress made on various development projects and welfare initiatives undertaken by the provincial government.

The Balochistan Chief Minister told the prime minister that with improved security situation the development projects are being executed with renewed spirit.

Sanaullah Zehri said that the deprivations of the people in Balochistan are aptly being addressed through the federal government’s major initiatives in the province.
