ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan have agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in the economic and trade sectors.
Both the foreign ministers held a conversation on phone and discussed issues of mutual interest including Pakistan-UAE bilateral relations and the overall situation in the region.
In his remarks, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan and the UAE enjoy deep, historic, and fraternal ties.
The foreign minister said that millions of Pakistanis living in the UAE have been contributing to the development of the UAE for the last many decades.
Qureshi said that in every difficult hour including the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic the two brotherly Countries stood by each other.
