The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has denounced the atrocities of Indian forces in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, saying that no doctrine of state security or sovereignty can justify such heinous acts of violence.

“In Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir, humanity is bleeding,” the foreign minister said in his twitter message on Tuesday

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan has and will continue to stand by the people of Kashmir in their struggle from freedom.

“You are not alone in your just struggle for self-determination,” he said.

His statement came on the eve of Kashmir Solidarity Day being observed today to express whole hearted support of the Pakistani nation to just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under UN resolutions.

Earlier in his separate message on Kashmir Solidarity Day, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the government and the people of Pakistan re-affirm our unflinching support to the brave people of the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their just and legitimate struggle for self-determination against wrongful Indian occupation.

The foreign minister said that Jammu & Kashmir is the core dispute between Pakistan and India. He said that the dream of peace and prosperity of the people of this region will remain elusive without resolving this dispute in accordance with the aspirations of its people.
