Peshawar, Pakistan: Despite spending 141 billion 48 crore rupees on the organization of prevention and recovery from natural disasters during the last five years of power of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the sensitive districts of the province could not be made safe.

According to the documents of the Finance Department, during the year 2018-19, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Department spent 5 billion 21 crore 70 lakh rupees.
