GHOTKI, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Sardar Ali Muhammad Mahar has passed away at the age of 52 years.

Sardar Ali Muhammad Mahar suffered a heart attack at his residence in Khangarh village of Ghotki district, which caused his death.

Ali Muhammad Mahar also remained the Sindh Chief Minister from 2002 to 2004.

Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Ali Muhammad Mahar.

Commiserating with the bereaved family, they prayed for the departed soul.
