ISLAMABAD: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Monday, however‚ isolated rain thunderstorm is expected in Malakand‚ Hazara‚ Peshawar‚ Rawalpindi‚ Gujranwala divisions‚ Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

At least 17 people were reported killed and dozens more injured as a result of torrential rain and windstorm across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Reports said the casualties were reported from Carsadda, Shergarh, Hatian Bala, Nowshera, Swat, Mingora and other parts of the KPK and Gilgit Baltistan.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad and Muzaffarabad 21 degree centigrade‚ Lahore 29‚ Karachi 28‚ Peshawar and Quetta 24‚ Gilgit 20 and Murree 14 degree centigrade.
