HealthNawaz takes notice of closure of water filtration plants in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif taking notice of closure of 25 water filtration plants in Islamabad has directed Chairman CDA to take immediate action against the officials found guilty of negligence.

He has also directed Chairman CDA to take measures for restoration of these plants to supply pure drinking water to the citizens.

On the directive of Prime Minister‚ Chairman CDA has suspended assistant director concerned while issuing show-cause notice to the concerned director.

The PM has also sought report regarding inquiry of the issue.
