ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said the new budget of the fiscal year 2013-14 focuses on providing maximum relief to the common man and stabilizing the national economy.

Talking to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Monday (June 17)‚ he appreciated the interest that the budget document has evoked among members of the parliament and general public.

During the meeting‚ Ishaq Dar briefed the Prime Minister about budget session of the Parliament.

He said a comprehensive and constructive discussion on the budgetary proposals is taking place in both the houses of the parliament.

Dar also briefed the Prime Minister about various proposals and recommendations put forward by members of Parliament during the debate on budget.
