ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah on Thursday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and his party had not taken the opposition into confidence about his movement against the government.
In a statement, he said Imran Khan’s solo flight could badly affect the unity of opposition and ultimately benefit the government.
Khursheed Shah said that Imran Khan’s movement of 2014 remained unsuccessful for not taking the leaders of opposition parties into confidence.
The opposition leader emphasized on extending powers to the Rangers in Sindh.
Earlier on Wednesday talking to media, Imran Khan announced the launch of a countrywide movement against corruption from August 7, saying if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif could not be held accountable with regard to the Panama Leaks, no other person could be probed.
Imran Khan said that the PTI would hold a protest in front of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) headquarters in Islamabad on July 25 and then launch a nationwide movement from August 7.
