ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said the government is introducing structural reforms to stabilize the economy of the Country.

He was talking to a four member delegation of International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Islamabad.

The Minister said they inherited a fragile economy but are taking hard decisions to deal with the situation.

Both sides resolved to put Pakistan economy in a dynamic emerging market.

The IMF delegation assured the Minister to continue to work with Pakistan and augment its efforts to transform the economy.

Meanwhile‚ during meeting with UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Essa Abdulla Al Basha Al Noaimi‚ Ishaq Dar highlighted government’s initiatives to turn around the national economy.

The UAE envoy said their government would respond positively to the call of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for more investment in Pakistan and to further expansion our bilateral relations.
