ISLAMABAD: In their messages on the occasion of 65th Death Anniversary of Founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah‚ President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have urged the nation to follow the Quaid’s principles of unity‚ faith and discipline to meet all the challenges facing the country.

President Mamnoon Hussain has said the need to follow the principle of Unity‚ Faith and Discipline was never as great as it is today.

In his message on the 65th death anniversary of Founder of Nation Mohammad Ali Jinnah‚ the President said observance of death anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah every year is the occasion for the nation to renew our commitment to those principles of democracy‚ constitutionalism and egalitarianism that Mohammad Ali Jinnah propounded throughout his life.

Mamoon Hussain said faced with various challenges including the threat from the militant mindset‚ economic challenges and poverty‚ we need to follow those principles‚ in letter and spirit that our great Quaid wanted us to follow.

On this day‚ the President called upon the nation to also pay homage to all those who have made valuable contributions towards the state and upholding the ideals of Quaid.

The Prime Minister in his message has called upon the nation to renew the commitment for principles of democracy‚ constitutionalism and equalitarianism that were propounded by father of the nation throughout his life.
