Islamabad, Pakistan: In 2017 when the state of Pakistan and Imran Khan were on the “same page” and when raising questions about the way Imran Khan was crafted was a sin, many journalists had the courage to raise alarm bells that “Cult Imran” would surely harm the country and the monster that the state had created would soon try to eat its creators.
A number of journalists, politicians, and writers considered their duty to share their knowledge of how the “Imran Cult” had been formed and they paid the cost of their straightforward, blunt, honest, and brave opinions but they had no regrets for this because it was their moral duty towards the soil that raised and fed them. Alas, many of such are no longer alive to see their political prophecies come true.
In the past, calling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) a “Cult” was a criminal act, and raising questions about the deformed morality of Imran was a “sin” because “Project Imran” was launched by the most powerful cadre of the society. Imran’s cult placed him on the pedestal of a “saint” therefore his fight for power became “Jihad”. Therefore his war between “good and evil” was converted into a War between Kufr (infidelity/faithless) and Islam. He was tagged as the supreme leader of Muslim Ummah (even after his leaked phone sex with a lady from Kalabagh district).
Trogon horses that PTI sent inside state institutions responsible for looking after the narrative of the state like a state-run news agency, state-run television, and PTA can still serve Khan’s agenda
Imran was portrayed as an “avatar” who had been sent by the divine powers to save Pakistan from corruption. This was not the first time that political history saw such a situation because several such experiments had been documented by historians since ancient times. The disaster that Project Imran left behind was also not unexpected because history testifies that such hybrid creatures never brought something good to their nations.
The nation would be grateful to former Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting of PTI Farrukh Habib if he could share supplementary information about foreign elements who had been in constant contact with former PM Imran Khan when he had been raising children as hatemongers against the state institutions and was using women as human shield out of his Zaman Park residence to avoid his arrest.
Since Farrukh Habib was Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting in Imran Khan’s cabinet he must have had knowledge about trogon horses PTI sent inside state institutions responsible for looking after the narrative of the state like a state-run news agency, state-run television, and PTA because huge appointments were done by the PTI government, and these horses can still serve Khan’s agenda.
The nation can forgive Imran Khan for his several actions but would not pardon him for using children against the state institutions and for poisoning their innocent minds
Farrukh Habib in his press conference categorically supported popular observations about Imran Khan had been training his followers as members of the “Imran Cult” rather than members of a political party. He confirmed that Imran Khan portrayed his political maneuverability as a “War between Kufr and Islam and he also confirmed that Imran Khan brainwashed his cult followers against the Pakistan Army. He should be more honest in sharing how Imran Khan had been fabricating stories against his opponents; particularly the Pakistan Army and certain politicians.
The nation can forgive Imran Khan for his several actions but would not pardon him for using children against the state institutions and for poisoning their innocent minds. Farukh Habib should share data about foreign experts who had been looking after media narrative building against Pakistan and had been drafting Imran’s narrative campaign.
Farrukh Habib can also share the list of top foreign psychologists, semioticians, and narrative builders from Western countries, mostly from Europe who had been providing catchlines and punchlines on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to Imran Khan to defame the Pakistan Army and to create a wedge between civilians and the armed forces. Habib should also share names of foreign firms that had been drafting his speeches to create a cipher fiasco for getting political mileage. The most important thing is that Habib should also share who had been funding this huge framework if he has such information.
It may be mentioned that Farrukh Habib on Monday held a press conference and announced parting ways with Imran Khan and PTI and joining the Jahangir Tareen-led Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).
Farrukh termed Imran Khan responsible for the May 9 riots, saying the latter kept “promoting violence and brainwashing youth”.
“Imran Khan did not act responsibly. Youth were brainwashed that institutions were against us. You [Imran] not only brainwashed them but also made them go against your own institutions, your own army,” he added.
