KAKUL, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has said that the military will ensure peace and security in the country with the support of the nation.   

Talking to cadets at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul on Tuesday, the army chief appreciated the role of the leadership in operation against terrorists, and said that the tradition of leading from the front will lead us to elimination of terrorism.

The COAS advised young officers never to shy away from difficult challenges.

The army chief also praised the PMA Kakul as an institution, calling it Pakistan’s premier military academy and an important asset where the army’s future leadership is trained and developed.
