KAKUL, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain said on Saturday that the anti-terror military operation Zarb-e-Azb will continue till its logical ends and soon it will bring an end to terrorism in Pakistan.

In his address at the passing out parade of cadets at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul on Saturday, the president reaffirmed the commitment that operation Zarb-e-Azb will continue till complete elimination of terrorism from the country.

The president said that this anti-terrorism operation is pivotal for peace and security of the region and the world at large.

President Mamnoon said that the people of Pakistan and its armed forces have given unprecedented sacrifices in this war which are now bringing dividend in the shape of improved law and order situation. He said that these efforts have also been recognized by the world community.

Mamnoon Hussain reminded that the operation was launched following the consensus amongst all the political parties.

Moreover, he said that Pakistan wants peace with all its neighbours including India.

The Ceremony was also attended by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and other high ranking military officers.
