Recap

Mayi Ri started with a very thought-provoking issue of child marriage that prevails in our society. Aini and Fakhir played by Aina Asif and Samar Abbas, get married following the will of their elders and their family tradition. In the beginning, they continued fighting over childish reasons due to their inacceptability. But, just like other drama serials, fans continued to hope that everything get better and that they would live happily ever after once they accepted their relationship.

By the middle of the serial, fans started rooting for Aini and Fakhir’s relationship when they started getting closer to each other. However, the writer had another purpose of creating the drama. As soon as the fans were hoping for good days, their childish arguments turned into some serious ones. Their relationship affected their studies, personal lives, careers, health and future.

Mayi Ri Drama Last Episode Review

Mayi Ri drama story became so intense that the conflicts between Fakhir and Aini did not seem to be resolved. Still, viewers kept hoping the last episode would be a happy ending. So, the Mayi Ri drama’s last episode was a happy ending but in an unconventional way that most of us expected. The makers stuck to the core purpose of the drama to disdain child marriage whatsoever.

No matter how cute Aini and Fakhir looked with each other, despite the fact that Fakhir was too caring for Aini, or any other reason, there was no reason to justify child marriage. After all the suffering making them live a happy life together could have been the biggest mistake of the makers. So, in the last episode of the Mayi Ri drama, Aini and Fakhir got divorced and focused on their lives and accomplished everything that they wanted to. If the ending was them stuck in a marital relationship, the message could not be delivered because people would think everything would eventually be fine.

However, the ending of the Mayi Ri drama was interesting. Aini graduated. Fakhir fulfilled his dream of studying abroad. Fakhir’s mother (Maria Wasti) ran the business successfully. No doubt, it was a happy ending and in the right way.
