Mahira Khan, this time around, is all set to make a production debut. The Bin Roye actress has finally decided to don a big hat and venture into becoming a producer. This comes as rather a shock for everyone because we did not know about her plans of sitting on that producer chair and making sure the actors perform on-point with this being the other way round for her.
But this time, the news is confirmed as she revealed on her Instagram account the details of this new project with her capacity and role clearly mentioned in the graphics.
What Is This Debut About?
Mahira Khan has produced a web series called ‘Barwan Khiladi’. Although there isn’t a lot except one caption relating to what it is going to be about that has been revealed yet, we got enough to know that Khan has become a producer for the first time. She shared multiple pictures on her Instagram account while revealing the title of the web series alongside the cover image of it as well. She captioned the pictures as:
“A coming of age story set against the backdrop of the OG of all games – Cricket. A story about friendships, relationships, unity, failure, success, love, and courage. A small peak into a labour of love and hard work.. from all of us to all of you.
“Baarwaan Khiladi ♥️”
Hence this is how we also got to know about this series based on cricket, which is the love of every Pakistani, is in production under her hat. The timing couldn’t be more right as Pakistan gears against South Africa and prepares itself for yet another version of PSL.
Who Is In The Team & Cast?
Other than mentioning her labor of love and efforts in the form of Baarwan Khiladi and what the story is about, she also tagged a few people which we are sure are the core of the team and cast. As the cover already reveals, the web film has been directed by Adnan Sarwar, Written by Shahid Dogar, and is presented by Mahira Khan alongside Nina Kashif and Soulfry films.
