The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan watched Pakistani Film “Cake”, and was impressed by both the acting and quality of the film.

The Film “Cake” starring Sanam Saeed, Aamina Sheikh, and Faris Khalid was directed/written by Asim Abbasi. The drama, mystery and romance-based movie was released on March 30, 2018.

“With the cast of the film Cake, after watching it. Impressed by both the acting and quality of the film. We have immense untapped potential in the Pakistan film industry,” Imran Khan said in a twitter message he posted on Friday.


The shooting of his film “Cake” was done in Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

Talking to media, Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari – who supervised the production of the film as an Executive Producer – said that he was happy that Pakistani film industry was progressing.

Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari said that he would play his role in development and promotion of the industry through production of quality movies in the Country.
