MUMBAI: The annual GQ Men of The Year Awards 2013 is always a must-attend gala on our busy calendars. After all, who wouldn’t want to watch some of the most stylish men and women from various walks of life projecting themselves in their glitziest avatars? And here we have a handful of handsome hunks and some really stunning babes getting us hooked with their killer personalities. From Farhan Akhtar to Hrithik Roshan and from Kangna Ranaut to Sonam Kapoor – it was raining stars all over, making the night an unforgettable affair oozing with glamour and incredible oomph.

Farhan Akhtar was declared The GQ Man of The Year 2013 for his portrayal of legendary sprinter Milkha Singh in Rakeyesh Omprakash Mehra’s widely acclaimed Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The 39-year-old star was spotted with wifey Adhuna Akhtar at the ceremony. Though the man looked dapper in a classic tuxedo, we would have liked to see the dude do more experimenting in terms of his style. The Greek god of B-town Hrithik Roshan graced the event and caught our eye with his layered dressing – the Agneepath star mixed class with flamboyance by wearing a dark blue shirt ‘neath a jet black waistcoat and a jhataak jacket thrown over over to complete the luxuriously bespoke look. And then there were Arjun Rampal and Virat Kohli, who were the cynosure of all eyes. While Rampal looked splendid with his desi style, Virat’s new eyebrow cut made him the butt of trendy banter. Randeep Hooda, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Rahul Boss and Prateik were also spotted at the do.

While the men turned our curious heads with their fashions, the femmes fatale made the show more electrifying with their luminous presence. Mandira Bedi, Rekha and Queenie Dhody looked classy. While Mandy and Rekha sparkled in their finely draped saris, Queenie was elegant in a beautifully crafted black outfit. But the real shockers were the otherwise well dressed bunch of babes. From Sonam Kapoor to Neha Dhupia and Rani Mukerji to Pallavi Sharda, the young brigade certainly let us down.

Take a look at these exclusive pictures and tell us who turned it up style-wise and who produced some really spectacular disasters.
