MUMBAI: After a non-bailable warrant was issued against Bollywood dimpled actor Preity Zenta in a statement she said she will take appropriate action against Abbas Tyrewala.
Last week writer-filmmaker Abbas Tyrewala, who wrote the dialogues for Preity Zinta’s first home production Ishkq In Paris filed a complaint against her after a cheque of Rs 18.9 lakh issued to him bounced.
Since Preity failed to appear in court, a non-bailable arrest warrant had been issued against the actor-producer by the Andheri Magistrate Court. Considering the legal turmoil the petite B-town babe is embroiled in, the actor’s silence has been misconstrued and with matters getting worse because of that, she was finally forced to issue a statement clarifying her postion. PZ’s official statement reads: “We will take appropriate action against him (Abbas) now that he has escalated the court and involved the media for publicity. I’m not stupid to endanger myself by getting a cheque bounced.”
Zinta is currently in Udaipur shooting for Bhaiyaji Superhit and will address this matter personally once she’s back in Mumbai. Watch this space for updates!
