KARACHI: As many as 113 people were declared as dengue patients in the year so far only in Karachi while at least eleven cases of dengue fever were reported in last two days at different hospitals of the city, according to the Sindh dengue surveillance cell report.

Dr Shakil Malik told media that the mosquito causing the dengue fever becomes active in hot areas and Karachi’s weather condition favors the mosquito.

The doctors have advised the people to get anti mosquito spray; close windows from mosquitoes could enter home, cover all food items and cover water pots to avoid the disease.
