Earthquakes jolts felt in Islamabad. Apart from the political earthquakes Islamabad had been through earthquake jolts at 4:49 pm today.

   

The magnitudte of the earthquake is still unknown and no official reports has been released by official authorizes. Earthquake jolts in Islamabad felt on 31st August 2014.

The tremors were felt for 35 seconds around 4:49pm. The epicenter is accounted for to be in the Hindu Kush locale.

The United States Geological Survey, which records quakes everywhere throughout the world reported that a quake with an extent of 5.8 hit with its epicenter 121 kilometers north west of Chitral.

The division recorded a second seismic tremor measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale generally a hour later with its epicenter eight km south east of the first quake.

The quake was felt in the capital Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Sargodha, Chitral and Haripur.

Frenzy held the influenced territories with individuals seen hurrying for security and discussing verses from the Holy Quran.

Express News reported that individuals in Islamabad were feeling consequential convulsions at general interims. The force of one of the repercussions was accounted for at 5.1 on the Richter scale.

NDTV reported that the quake had been felt the extent that India.

Prior on Wednesday, the USGS reported that there had been two more quakes minutes separated with extents of 4.2 and with epicenters 70 km and 55 km north of Khaplu in the Himalaya locale of Pakistan.

A 7.6-size seismic tremor in Pakistan in October 2005 executed 74,000 individuals and removed 3.5 million.
