ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan’s ambassador to China Masood Khalid has said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a game changer and would help stamping out unemployment from country.

Masood Khalid while talking to BBC said that the CPEC would not only benefit China but also prove beneficial for the country’s four provinces and other countries in the region.

Trade statistics have been raised significantly which would ultimately benefit the economy, he said.

He further said Pakistan and China maintained strong ties for decades and still continued to enjoy a reliable bond which was always in the interest of both the states.

Replying to a question he said Pakistan considered its friendship with China as the cornerstone of its foreign policy, whereas China has maintained that it would consolidate its friendship with Pakistan.

Masood said the countries were sincerely heading towards its earlier completion with exemplary collaboration.
