WASHINGTON DC: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh had a telephonic conversation with leading member of Congressional Pakistan Caucus Rep. Tom Suozzi.
During the conversation, Pakistan-US relations and further strengthening of bilateral cooperation was discussed.
The Congressman Tom Suozzi congratulated the Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh on assumption of duties as the Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US.
Ambassador Rizwan said that Pakistan-US relations are of great importance to both the Countries and the region. He termed the positive trajectory of bilateral relations between the two Countries encouraging.
“We are determined to fully utilize this spirit of goodwill and friendship for further strengthening of multifaceted relations, especially economic ties,” Rizwan Saeed Sheikh said.
The ambassador thanked Congressman Tom Suozzi for expressing good will and his felicitation message on the occasion of Independence Day Rep.
Tom Suozzi appreciated the Pakistani community for their contribution towards strengthening Pakistan-US relations and their services for the country.
During the conversation, they reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen Pakistan-US relations, work together to promoting people to people ties and to mobilize and strengthen Pakistani caucus in the US Congress.
