Consensus required on matters not to be politicized: Marriyum Aurangzeb

LAHORE, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday said they had to determine the matters which needed not to be politicized.

While speaking during her visit to Services Hospital in Lahore to inquire about the health of the Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal wherein she also prayed for his early recovery, the minister said matters of sensitive nature should have been discussed in the Parliament.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said everyone had to play a part to ensure peace in the Country. She said May Allah bless ever Pakistani citizen.

Talking about the attack on Ahsan Iqbal, the information minister said a meeting of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) had been held to probe the incident.

The minister said the unity was indispensable against those who were playing with people’s lives.

The information minister also asked TV Channels and Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to comply with the code of conduct.
