New Prices of Petroleum Products in Pakistan for May 16-31, 2024

  • Petrol: Rs 273.10 per litre (decrease by Rs 15.39)
  • High-Speed Diesel: Rs 274.08 per litre (decrease by Rs 7.88)

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Finance Division has announced the new prices of petroleum products in Pakistan for the next fortnight from May 16 to May 31, 2024.Petrol Price in Pakistan Today – 16 May 2024

While announcing the decision late on Wednesday night, the finance division said that the petrol price has been deceased by Rs 15.39, and now its new price will be Rs 273.10 per litre whereas the price of per litre High-Speed Diesel (HSD) will be Rs 274.08 after a decrease of Rs 7.88.

Similarly, the prices of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil have also been reduced by Rs 9.86 and Rs 7.54 per litre respectively. Now per litre Kerosene Oil will cost Rs 173.48 and Light Diesel Oil will be available for Rs 161.17.

The prices of petroleum products have seen a decreasing trend in the international market during the last fortnight. The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has worked out the consumer prices, based on the price variations in the international market. The prices of Motor Spirit & HSD for the next fortnight, starting from 16th May, 2024, are accordingly being lowered,” read the notification issued by the Finance Division.

The revised prices will come into effect at midnight from May 16, 2024.
