The first day of Eid Ul Fitr 2023 was celebrated in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday with religious zeal and fervor.
Eid Ul Fitr marks the end of month-long Ramadan and the beginning of the 10th month of Shawwal in the lunar-based Islamic Calendar.
Among the thousands of faithful, UAE rulers and leaders also offered prayers on the morning of Eid Ul Fitr and exchanged Eid greetings with worshippers.
Abu Dhabi
The UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan performed Eid Al Fitr prayer at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi alongside worshippers.
Sharjah
The Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi along with the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, and the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi performed Eid Al Fitr prayer at Al Badee Musallah in Sharjah.
Umm Al Quwain
The Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla alon with the Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla offered Eid prayer at the Ahmed bin Rashid Al Mualla Mosque in the Emirate.
Ras Al Khaimah
The Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi along with the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi performed Eid Ul Fitr prayer at the Eid Grand Musalla in Khuzam.
Fujairah
The Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi accompanied by the Crown Prince of Fujairah Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi offered Eid prayer at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah.
