Name Significance
Siri Paye is a combination of two Hindko words “Sar” and “Paya”. The “Sar” means lake and “Paya” means high grazing ground. The Siri Paye Meadow is a striking sight as it offers a glimpse of Makra Peak, Malika Parbat, and the mountains of Kashmir. However, getting there is not a piece of cake and most people travel hard after spending the night in Shogran.

The local people are very polite and their hospitality makes you feel at home. Sri Paye camping is accessible through Shogran, and Shogran is accessible from Kiwai. You can rent a jeep from Kiwai to reach Shogran. You will reach Shogran in 40 minutes and after that, you will have to trek on a steep and narrow road for 20 minutes to reach Siri Paye.
