In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the gold prices slipped at the opening of the markets on Monday as the price of one gram of 22-karat gold, which is the standard for gold jewellery, fell to Dh219.25 from yesterday’s Dh219.75.
The data released by the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group showed that the 24K was trading at Dh236.75 per gram on Monday morning while 22K, 21K and 18K opened at Dh219.25, Dh212.25 and Dh181.75 per gram respectively.
