BlogsHow to obtain Child Registration Certificate or B-Form in Pakistan

The Child Registration Certificate (CRC) or also known as B-Form is an official document used to register minors under the age of 18 years.

The B-Form is required for a variety of purposes including:

  • Enrolling a child in school or college
  • Obtaining a passport or visa for international travel
  • Applying for government services such as health care and social welfare benefits
  • Registering a child’s name in property or inheritance records
  • Opening a bank account or obtaining other financial services
  • Voting in elections once the child reaches 18 years of age.

To obtain a B-Form for a child, parents or legal guardians must submit an application to a National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Office along with the required documents including the child’s Birth Certificate, the father’s National Identity Card (NIC), and the mother’s NIC.

Where to apply for CRC or B-Form?

You can apply for CRC or B-Form by going to the nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC).

Following are the steps which you will be following at the NRC:

  • You will be issued a token
  • Your photograph will be captured
  • Your fingerprints and signature will be taken
  • Your required data entry will be done and form will be printed to be reviewed by yourself
  • You will be handed over a printed version of your application form.

Once the form is printed and given to you, you need to submit the form to the concerned NRC after you have gotten it attested by any gazetted officer.

In case any of your father/mother is available at the time of application at the NRC, their biometrics can be captured and as a result attestation of the form is not required.
