Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program (BNIP)
The Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program (BNIP) by the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives is a nationwide initiative aimed at providing paid internships to 60,000 young graduates across Pakistan.
The BNIP was launched on the directions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif to ensure the economic empowerment of Pakistan’s youth.
The program offers two components: Build-for-Skills Internship Program (BSIP) and Work-for-Skills Internship Program (WSIP), aiming to help participants gain valuable work experience, enhance their skills, and increase their employability.
Who is eligible to apply for the Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program?
- Graduates up to the age of 30 holding a Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or higher from an HEC-recognized university or institution in Pakistan, or abroad are eligible to apply for BNIP internships.

How long is the duration of the BNIP Program?
The duration of the Internship Program is from six months to one year.
Is the BNIP Internship is paid?
Yes, the BNIP internship is paid, providing a participant with a monthly stipend of Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000 during the internship period.
