BlogsCoca Cola Pakistan began their revamped marketing competition in LUMS

In an attempt to find the next big names in the marketing industry, Coca Cola Pakistan began their revamped marketing competition in Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on February 1, 2016. The competition is spread over 5 stages and was aimed to challenge the participants’ social, management, interpersonal, analytical, and creative skills by offering the sweet reward of a highly paid and accredited internship at CCBPL (Coca Cola Beverages, Pakistan Limited).
The whole competition will judge a team’s business case study proposals, the effectiveness of their social marketing as well as an online website campaign and reward points to each section separately. The team that will have the highest number of points by displaying the proper set of skills will be deemed victorious.
Our only complaint with the competition is that it is only for LUMS students and we do hope that CCBPL will soon decide to extend the same courtesy to students from all over Pakistan or at the very least, Lahore so that they can truly find those hidden gems in the dirt. That being said, we also highly appreciate CCBPL for taking such an initiative that allows students to work in a practical field and better themselves by competing with their peers.
