The rules related to vehicle registration and number plates have been changed in the Federal Capital which is very important for vehicle owners to know.

According to the details, there has been a big change in the rules related to vehicle registration and number plates in Islamabad, it has been decided to cancel the registration of vehicles with non-model number plates.

The notification states that for re-registration, a fee of Rs 5,000 will have to be paid for a 1,000 cc vehicle, and a fee of Rs 10,000 for re-registration of a 2,000 cc vehicle.

The notification further stated that vehicles which are above 2000 cc will have to pay a fine of Rs 20,000.

A fee of Rs 1,000 has to be paid on re-registration of the motorcycle, in case of repeated violation, five times more fee will be charged.Change in rules regarding Vehicle Registration & Number Plates in Islamabad
