Blast in Balochistan’s Jaffarabad kills one, injures eight

QUETTA: An explosion occurred in Jaffarabad district of restive Balochistan province on Thursday, killing at least one person and injuring eight others.

The blast took place on the same when Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in the provincial capital Quetta on a one-day visit to discuss security situation with the provincial government.

The sources said that the blast occurred in a van parked on Jamali bypass near Dera Allah Yar town which is headquarters of the Jaffarabad district of Balochistan.
