ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The ARY News Office in Islamabad has been shut amid the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak among the employees, the President and CEO of ARY Digital Network Salman Iqbal said.

In a twitter statement on Monday, Salman Iqbal told that the initiative has been taken as a precautionary measure.

The ARY CEO said that a random testing of 20 employees was conducted at the Islamabad Office which found out that eight of them had developed the Coronavirus while two had symptoms as well.

Salman Iqbal said that following the results, now the Office has been shut down, and all the employees have been asked to stay at home.

Furthermore, he said that all Staff Members will be tested for the Coronavirus, and in the meantime, the Office will be sanitized as well.
