Kazan, Russia: Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Russia, visited the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency while on visit to Kazan. Along with other Ambassadors of Islamic countries, Ambassador Tirmizi was briefed about the investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Ambassador Tirmizi emphasized that Pakistan was committed to developing relations with the Russian Federation, including inter-regional cooperation, especially with the Republic of Tatarstan, as there are many silimilarities and shared values.
The Ambassador further underscored that the priority of his work in Russia would be strengthening business-to-business and people-to-people contacts.
Ambassador Tirmizi is on a visit to Kazan to attend the International Festival of National Cultures “Russia-East” (“Eastern Bazaar in Kazan”).
