H.E. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Ambassador of Pakistan, attended the Memory Parade, along with other participants of the 13th International Sports Forum ‘Russia: Country of Sports’. The Parade took place on November 7th in Samara’s Kuybyshev Square.
The Parade is dedicated to the 1941 military procession in Kuybyshev (the name of the city of Samara during the Soviet era), which served as the reserve capital of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).
Ambassador Tirmizi also visited Stalin’s underground bunker, the alternate Supreme High Command General Headquarters of the Soviet Armed Forces intended for Joseph Stalin.
