ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal on Wednesday urged the youth to play its due role to project positive and soft image of the Country at world fora.

In his address at a Seminar in Islamabad, the minister said the young generation should not be in sense of inferiority, adding the young generation could better highlight the positive image of the Country at international level.

Ahsan Iqbal said Pakistani youth was their strength right now and it had to highlight their good capabilities. He said the youth should work hard with enthusiasm in any sector.

The minister said the Country could be made abode of peace and prosperity with positive mindset. “We have to work together for the development of the Country while adopting positive thinking.”

The interior minister said the nation had the capability to address all the challenges faced by the Country.

Moreover, the minister said unfortunately negative propaganda was always made against their Country.

Ahsan Iqbal said girls had been leading the education sector. He said the federal government increased the Higher Education Commission (HEC) budget to 47 billion from 13 billion.

“We established universities campuses in Gwadar, Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) and Balochistan,” he said.

The minister said their sources of education had changed. “We distributed laptops among those who were on merit,” he added.
