On July 27, three heavily-armed men stormed a police station in Gurdaspur and killed seven persons including three civilians and four security personnel

“Intelligence agencies fear that 15-20 terrorists may have crossed over to the Indian side in Punjab to launch terror strikes in the state, Delhi and other parts of the country,” the sources said according to Zee News.

The sources said that the terrorist group has been trained by the ISI in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

In addition, they said that the terrorists were given arms training in Pakistan-administered Kashmir and other locations in Pakistan under the guidance of Jamatud Dawa (JUD) Chief Hafiz Saeed.

The sources also alleged that the ISI officials held a meeting in Pakistan-administered Kashmir with various Pakistan-based terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Muhammad, Hizbul Mujahideen and Sikh terror groups like Babbar Khalsa International and Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) to fine tune the terror strategy.

The ISI, according to sources, has also reportedly issued funds and asked terror groups to strengthen their coordination.

Moreover, the sources said that the Sikh terror groups have also played a key role in the plan as they have helped the terrorists get acquainted with Sikh traditions and gurmukhi script.

The allegations of terror attacks by Pakistan-backed terrorists have not been made by India for the first time.

On July 27, three heavily-armed men stormed a police station in Gurdaspur district of Indian Punjab and killed seven persons including three civilians and four security personnel.

Later, the Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh told the Lok Sabha that the Gurdaspur police station attackers had come from Pakistan via Ravi river.

However, Pakistan has always rejected such allegations leveled by India and describes Indian leadership’s such provocative statements as a threat to peace and security of the region.
